I am trying to discovered Tumblelogs by authors in my immediate vicinity (London, near England, if you’re interested).
So, I surf on over to the Tumblr Map where I am invited to ‘Zoom in to find Tumblelogs’.
Only I can’t ‘Zoom in to discover Tumblelogs’ because whenever I try to drill into Europe, the map keeps getting refreshed with real-time updates from Tumblers from all around the world.
Or am I missing something obvious (again) ?
Update: I managed to click ‘Zoom in’ quickly enough to interrupt the real-time update and drilled into SW London.
Bizarre - they are not merely ‘one line comments’ - they literally are answers, not publically displayed but only visible to the author via his Tumblr dashboard.
Weird.
I enabled ‘Answers’ on a previous post and, although the ‘Answer’ box is displayed, it is greyed out.
Does the ‘Answer’ box only work if the post asks a deep, probing question ending with a question mark ?
Tumblr now supports ‘answers’ which are similar to short comments.
Suitable for posts that ask questions like this one although there doesn’t appear to be a way to enable answers on existing posts.
New ! Introducing nature themes for your iGoogle page.
For one glorious moment I misread this as ‘Introducing mature themes…’
No suitable nodes are available to serve your request.
Come on identi.ca. Hurry up and find a node to serve my request. Or else I will move to Tumblr.

OK - so two people have been kind enough to ‘Like’ something I tossed into the Tumble Dryer.
How can I find out what they liked (so I can write more stuff in the same vein) ?
How can I find out who they are to see if their Tumblr interests me ?
